Although Guitars ‘n’ Kids is a newly formed 501(c)(3), our officers and instructors have spent years teaching youth in Contra Costa County — and our students have the performances to show for it.

Recognition
In 2025, founder and CEO Barbara Gorin was honored with the CBS News Bay Area ICON Award for her years of dedicated community service teaching the youth of disadvantaged communities.
